UWA is about five kilometres from the city.

UWA owned short-term accommodation

Residential college accommodation

Trinity College and St Catherine's offer year round guest accommodation. Check with the colleges for rates and availability. Short term guest accommodation is offered by all of the residential colleges during vacation periods, depending upon availability. They offer a range of single, twin/double rooms (some with en-suite) and limited family accommodation.

If you are staying in temporary accommodation for one week or more, ask if a discount is available.

Bed and breakfast

These bed and breakfasts offer a bedroom and sitting room or self-contained facilities, within a larger house, not far from the University.

Hotels

Located in the city or in suburbs close to the University, most of these hotels have private bathrooms but do not have kitchen facilities. Breakfast may be included.

Backpackers' accommodation

The following backpacker hostels have full kitchen and laundry facilities, shared bathroom and internet access. Storage is available (luggage, lockers and / or safe at reception), and a supermarket is within walking distance. Dormitory sizes vary from place to place.

The busy period for backpackers in Perth is usually January to April when you may want to book far in advance.
